Alway's wanted to give fly-fishing a try but you don't own your own equipment.
No problem!!

Executive Fly Fishing is outfitted with top quality rods & reels in weights 4 through 7 so you can be set up for dry fly, nymph or streamer fishing.

Sounds confusing, don't worry I have taught several beginners the basics and have had countless new fly fishers catch & land trout. So try before you buy with Executive Fly Fishing Tours.

We suggest to bring the following:
 
  • A digital camera, but don’t forget we take digital pictures for you as well!
  • A good hat for the sun, and possibly some rain. Fishing is great on rainy overcast days!
  • Sun Glasses, Polarized are the best for viewing the water & fish!
  • A rain jacket, just in case!
  • Sunscreen & Insect repellent is supplied by us!
  • Felt Soled wading boots or lace up footwear that you don't mind getting wet!
  • Waders are nice if you own them, but not necessary!
  • Full floating lines are prefered and any fishing can be done with full floating lines.
  • Sink tip lines are handy but not a necessity.
  • If you own your own fly rods, bring a 4 or 5 weight for casting dry flies & smaller nymphs, a 6 or 7     weight is perfect for larger nymphs and streamers.
  • Licenses:
    We will assist you to get your license the day of your trip from one of our local fly shops, but if possible it is prefered you obtain a license beforehand if you are an Alberta resident.
    All fishing is Catch & Release to conserve the future of our fish.
